AJ Springer grew up in Aberdeen, a small town that shaped her deep-rooted love for family, community, and a life driven by purpose and adventure.

From a young age, AJ has lived many lives in one—racing cars, stepping into the ring for boxing and kickboxing, competing in NPC fitness, and building a career in the fitness industry as a coach, personal trainer, and leader. That drive has carried into her current role as a Regional Manager for multiple Orangetheory Fitness locations across Oregon, where she leads teams, builds culture, and continues to coach clients—staying connected to the people and stories that inspire her most.

Having experienced so much at a young age, AJ brings a rare depth and authenticity to her writing. The lessons, challenges, and triumphs she has lived through have laid the groundwork for the stories she tells—stories rooted in resilience, emotion, and the complexity of real life.

Now based in Portland, AJ balances a fast-paced life as a leader, coach, and mother of two. She rises before the sun to write, protecting the quiet moments where her stories come to life.

AJ Springer is the author of MaryLou and DonnaMae, novels that explore family, love, loss, and the strength it takes to keep going. Her work is known for its raw honesty, emotional depth, and characters that stay with readers long after the final page.
